Card change-up: Avoid memorizing a card instead of an idea. Have you ever been studying flashcards and just read the first couple words of the question and already know what the answer is? That’s a problem. You’re starting to learn your cards instead of memorizing the concept. Cramboy changes it up for you. The next time a flashcard appears the question might be worded differently, or use different numbers or names. No doubt the choice of answers will be in a randomized order, and probably have changed the possible incorrect answers – all to keep you memorizing concepts – not cards.

Not all cards are equal: The problem with almost all flashcards is that they treat crads equally. How many times have you looked at a card and gotten the answer wrong – only to put the card at the end of the deck again. Not Cramboy. Cards that are answered incorrectly don’t go to the end of the deck, they go just a few cards back. Start answering that card correctly and it starts to creep farther back appearing less. Cards don’t go into regular rotation until you answer them correctly multiple times.

Detailed Flip-side: Many of our cards show more than just the answer on the back – they show details. We think providing command output, diagrams and detailed explanations help the user are helpful.

Progress Tracking: Cramboy keeps track of your progress – so you can track how many times you’ve answered a card incorrectly. When you close Cramboy and open it again later, just pick-up where you left off.

Fine-tuning: By default, Cramboy is ready to go to start learning – but you can fine tune your decks in settings and eliminate cards you don’t want to focus on at the moment. Combine cards from different decks to create your own deck. Have a special set of cards you want to study? Just select the cards you want and put them together to form your own unique deck.

Set alarms: Set alarms within the app to alert you to study. Keep to your schedule. The CCNA has a lot of information to study, stay on it..
